Layers Pellets is the best feed choice for those looking to look after their hens and give them a balanced, complete, nutritious diet ensuring a good yolk colour and strong shell. This chicken feed also contains supplementary vitamins and minerals for overall health and is non genitically modified.
These delicious pellets can be fed along side greens and treats (which your hens will love you for!) and we would recommend also offering poultry grit which will help them grind their food and will aid digestion.
Our layers pellets are suitable for laying hens, geese and ducks. The natural balanced formula promotes consistent laying and is ideal for feeding from point of lay.
How to Feed Our Pellets to Your Layers
These pellets can be fed in a hopper or standard feeder, and we would recommend only filling feeders with one or two days' worth of food. Remove uneaten or wet food before re-filling.
It is important to clean your feeders regularly using an appropriate disinfectant such as our Ark Klens, which is quick and easy to use and will kill bacteria for a healthier environment for your birds.
Layers pellets can be fed ad lib all year round. Typically, allow 150-175g per bird per day. Please ensure fresh water is available at all times. The feed should be kept in a vermin-proof container in a dry and cool environment.
